About Me
Many adults begin looking for a therapist when their strategies for managing difficult thoughts, feelings, relationship patterns, and recurrent or continual stressors are no longer working for them. Many parents begin looking for a therapist for their child or adolescent when they notice them struggling with the demands of school, peer relationships, managing strong emotions, or showing signs of low self-esteem.
In my private practice as a pre-licensed clinical psychologist,* I see adults, children, and adolescents. I approach therapy as an individualized human relationship that centers respect and understanding, guided by clear, mutually agreed upon goals for change.
I consider therapy to be most successful when clients come to find managing life’s difficulties more achievable, are less bothered by inner and outer experiences, feel more resilient or sturdy in themselves, and can build more meaningful, fulfilling relationships with others. If you wonder whether we may be a good fit, I am happy to speak with you about this on the phone.
*Being a pre-licensed clinical psychologist means that I have completed the doctoral requirements required for a degree in clinical psychology. As I am in process of completing additional requirements for licensure to practice independently, I am able to provide services including therapy, consultation, and psychological assessment, under the licensure and supervision of local psychologists. My primary supervisor is Dr. Ronald Jalbert, Ph.D. (License #: PS004809L).
Services I offer include:
- Individual Therapy with adults, children, and adolescents
- Psychological consultation with professionals
- Psychological assessment
Fees for services:
At this time, I do not accept insurance. My fee is $100/hour session. I offer a sliding scale for individuals and families who find this amount difficult to manage.
